Finding correct center of gravity has never been more easy!

Finding dimensional data from R/C aircraft has never been easier or more accurate than it is now with the Fly-Right Jig! This tool was designed to be used to capture dimensional date direct from your airframe required when using a three-scale balancing system such as the Xicoy CG Meter or SkyRC CG Gauge (purchased separately). With the use of digital positioning readouts or “DRO’s” and a 4th axis with a laser level, the Fly-Right Jig takes all the trouble out of capturing this data so you can balance your aircraft with these 3-scale balancing meters!

The Fly-Right CG Jig was developed out of a need for an easier and more accurate way to measure the center of gravity on any size RC model aircraft. Specifically designed to be used with the Xicoy CG Meter or the Sky RC CG Gauge.
Now offering blue finish on Jigs and Work Stands!

Utilizing Digital Position readouts (DRO), and the included 2 line, self-leveling laser, the Fly-Right CG Jig is extremely accurate and easy to use. No more measuring or having to use a plumb bob, clunky rods or tape!
The Nose/Tail DRO position is instantly available through the Digital Read Out for that axis. This is the first input for the Xicoy.
For the “Distance Mains-CG” input. Use the 3rd axis with the laser and its position DRO to capture the second input needed for the Xicoy which is “Distance Mains-CG”. Simply zero the laser DRO out when the laser light is in the center of the axel, making this your REFERENCE ZERO POINT, and then move the laser out to your CG location under the wing. The dimension is instantly available for DIRECT input into your Xicoy CG meter. It’s painless and fast! NO NEED TO DO ANY MATH or subtract a dimension from a fixed position. The laser (range finder) will give you instant position any where the laser touches the airframe relative to a zero point that you set.
This Laser DRO axis is ALSO used to input an add to, or remove from, weight location shown as the third dimension “Distance from mains to weight placement” asked for in the Xicoy balancer. Use the laser to find the dimension from the mains to anywhere you would like to place weight and enter that into the Xicoy.
You can create a ZERO REFERENCE point anywhere on the airframe with this DRO. If you do not know where your CG location is on the wing, You can create a ZERO POINT anywhere the manufacture references the CG from, whether its the leading edge or a specific former in the fuse, simply roll the DRO out the distance specified by your manual from that reference point and mark that on your plane as the CG. NO NEED TO DO MATH! NO SUBTRACTING OR ADDING NEEDED. The zero reference allows direct dimensional input from anywhere on the plane to any other reference point that you ZERO to.
Be confident with the dimensional data provided by the FLY-RIGHT JIG from your airframe that you enter into the XICOY CG Meter to know that model is balanced properly and accurately! With the Fly-Right jig, you can be sure that this data is CORRECT and very ACCURATE, down to .1mm of accuracy off the laser and DRO if desired.
The Jig can accommodate models with up to an 94″ distance between the main gear and nose or tail gear and a main gear width of 38″ wide.

A self-leveling 2- line laser is included as standard and is used to capture and transpose ANY position from any REFERENCE POINT on your air frame for input into the Xicoy CG meter or for any other reason you may need dimensional data from your plane.
The ease of use guarantees that you will balance your models more often. We are confident that you will love your Fly-Right Jig and will wonder how you ever Transposed this data from hour plane for a correct center of gravity without it!
The Fly-Right Full Jig dimensions are 48″ wide on the mains gantry axis and 96″ long on the nose/tail wheel gantry axis! Big enough to fit a Ziroli C-47 on it out of the box!

A 360 degree self-leveling laser is now available as an upgrade which replaces the 2 line self-leveling standard laser. Have full 360 degree laser lines in both the horizontal and vertical axis. Make sure you get the best laser line coverage possible with this upgrade.
