Digital positioning readout CG jig for the Xicoy CG Meter or Sky RC CG Gauge
The Fly-Right CG Jig was developed out of a need for an easier and more accurate way to measure the center of gravity on any size RC model aircraft. Specifically designed to be used with the Xicoy CG Meter.
The use of three-scale CG measuring meters has greatly improved the accuracy of this critical measurement. However, if you have used that system, you know that it takes some time to set up and get the correct input dimensions to use the system effectively.

The Fly-Right Jig takes all the setup hassle out of this process and greatly increases the functionality of the three-scale measuring systems so that you can be sure your plane is properly balanced.
The use of digital position readouts and a laser line will instantly give you position in relation to the air frame, so you can capture the required input data for the Xicoy CG Meter!
No more complicated measuring; simply place your model on the jig, use the DROs and laser system to find and measure your CG’s location on the aircraft, the distance from mains to the CG and the distance of the mains to the nose/tail wheel.
You can then take and input that data into the Xicoy computer and have your CG reading in seconds!
No more guessing, no more setup hassle, just simple, fast, and accurate CG readings every time!

Simply zero the laser and DRO out on the axle, then move the laser to your CG mark and enter that position reading from the DRO into the Xicoy! No more guessing or complicated measuring. Simple and very fast!
The versatility of the jig design makes it useful for any size model or gear configuration. Simple, fast, and accurate! The Fly-Right Jig will make you confident that you have a properly balanced plane that Flys- RIGHT!
The laser position DRO is also used to capture the dimension of where you want to add or remove correction weight.
Anywhere on the air frame that you would like to add weight for balance correction, you can now easily obtain that dimension in seconds! This feature of the Xicoy balancer is virtually un-used due to the complexity of obtaining this dimension accurately. With the Fly-Right Jig it takes seconds!
You can also use the laser and position DRO to quickly locate and mark your CG position from the leading edge of the wing. Set the reference zero position to the leading edge with the laser and then move out to the models specified CG dimension and place a mark on the plane. Easy and fast!
Size and custom build options!
We offer the Fly-Right Jig in two configurations: the Fly-Right Full and the Fly-Right LITE. The FULL version is suited for large-scale tailwheel aircraft and XL Jets. The LITE version is more compact and better suited for most nose-wheel aircraft and smaller tail-wheel aircraft.
